  We booked a private tour for three days in Luxor, every day 4-6 hours, with car, driver and egyptologist. First day, we went to the East Bank visiting Karnak and... read more Luxor temples, Luxor museum and Sphinx Avenue. The next two days we visited the temples and tombs on the East bank, especially Valley of Kings, Valley of Nobles and Valley of Artisans, Medinat Habu and Ramasseum to mention.

All went really great and I want to thank and compliment all, from booking, our guide Mansour and the drivers. Car was always good as well as the driver. We got picked up at the hotel every day on time.

Our guide Mansour war great, very good English, nice to chat with, great knowledge and he was always going the extra mile for us! Many thanks for that.

Nice thing with the private tours is that they help you quickly get the Luxor Pass and other tickets, having a guide keeps annoying sellers and "guides" off your back and you can ask as many questions as you want about old and new egypt. You can take your time and your speed and customize the trip as you want.

Pricing was fair as well. So I can totally recommend booking with them.

After our tour ended we asked for restaurant recommendations. He was kind enough to spend an extra hour, to take us to an excellent Egyptian cuisine restaurant. He waited outside the restaurant for us and then even took us to an ATM after because we were low on cash. He spent an extra hour helping us out, which we are thankful for.

The tour was a good mix of information followed by free time to explore the temples and take pictures.

The car was also comfortable, clean and nice.

  Through the last week and during my first trip to this wonderful country Egypt I had a great a chance to fulfill a life time dream ,as me and my... read more beloved wife , were in Cairo being fascinated by such beautiful ancient civilization .And I was advised by some friends to go to Hurghada ,where we had that sensational romantic time by the Red Sea .and after researching online we managed to book a 2 days trip to Luxor city for the chance to see the unimaginable monuments in there with the help of “LuxortourguideTours” company .We were escorted by our driver “Sameh “ who picked us up at 6am from the Hotel and drove us in a big comfort and air conditioned van for more than 300KM and it was a very safe drive.

Upon arrival to Luxor ,we met the Guide and he first took us to visit the East bank of the Nile Temples such as Karnak and Luxor temples. He give us a great lecture and information about the History and Egyptology helped us to understand the significance of building such huge edifices which were mainly made for Ancient mythical beings however I think if we were by ourselves it would sound very hard to get the Idea of spending time and great effort to make them endures for centuries
.he sounded like a celebrity in there ,Everyone knows and respect him and he is a very friendly ,knowledgeable and considerate guy .After finishing the tour there ,He took us to the Hotel and every thing was ready ,as we were completely knackered and tired of such a long day ,we got our room in no time at all and we enjoyed a cold drink by the pool while the Sun goes down into such a charming city .Things felt like those “Indiana Jones” movies.
The next day we woke up at 3 am in the morning as we reserved the Hot Air Balloon Trip atop of the west side of Luxor and managed to watch the Ancient place from the sky and It was wonderful .The guys who did that for us were very meticulous about the safety procedures .They surprised me and my wife with a party in the desert after we landed .That really felt like a new wedding and honey moon for us .We were surrounded by love.

We then met the tour guide again then He took us to the place of our dreams ,We always watched the documentaries about the Valley of the Kings ,The curse and Haward Carter, however nothing is like visiting the Place with The Professional guide,who explained to us how to enjoy our time there without losing our power or wasting the time .

He told us all the stories which I admire him for such huge info he has and still keeping the pace of the trip on the right track .We had been later to the charming terrace temple of Queen “Hatshepsuit” and heard the stories of Ancient politics and love stories which sounded no different of Today. On the way back we had a photo stop by The Colossi of “Memnon” while the guide kept telling us his interesting stories about them and made it a great fun as he didn’t sound like a teacher but a true Professional Egyptologist.After we finish and had a tasty Egyptian Kabab Lunch we were driven back to Hurghada safely.

I did one-night Luxor tour and visited the Valley of the Kings with extremely good Company Luxortourguide. The guide explained the history and background of the ancient time... read more in details which allowed me to understand better the tombs and the paintings and the temples. He is very knowledgeable about all matters about ancient Eqypt.
I visited on the first day the valley and 4 different tombs which the guide had chosen. They were all different from each other so I got good understanding of the differences. After the valley we visited temple of the queen Hatshepsui, ancient woman ruler of eqypt. The temple is magnificient and well preserved.
Next day morning went to Aswan and in the way to Aswan visited Amazing Edfu,and Kom ombo temples
Highly recommended!

  Took a 2 day trip from Hurghada to Luxor with Luxor Tour guide Tours recently and the whole trip was amazing, from first point of contact through to final drop... read more off. My initial enquiry to the owner, Mr Mohamed, was met with a prompt WhatsApp reply making booking the trip really easy. He wouldn’t take a deposit despite my offering as he was keen that we take the trip first and pay upon completion and then checked in with me multiple times to confirm all was ok (including phoning to make sure we had been picked up on the morning of our trip and meeting up with us half way through the first day to say hi).

Our driver was excellent ,and his Car new,and very clean,
he was punctual, friendly and really helpful throughout our 2 days with him. He even came back out in the evening to take us to the Karnak light show despite having been up stupidly early to drive to Hurghada to pick us up and then ferry us back to Luxor and around Karnak and Luxor temples.

What a truly fantastic seven days we had and words cannot do justice to the marvels we witnessed accompanied by our guide and now good friend . I have been a beneficiary of many Trip Advisor reviews, and after the fabulous service we received from Luxor tour guideTours, decided that I need... read more to contribute to this online community so this is my first review. By way of context, my family and I spent one day in Cairo and three in Luxor using Luxor tour guide , guides and drivers in both places.

In Cairo, Ahmed was our fabulous guide. We were on a tight schedule with an afternoon flight to catch and he did a great job fitting everything in that we wanted to see. He even had the driver stop to pick up a great lunch to eat in the air conditioned van while parked in view of the Giza pyramids to save time, with Ahmed describing the pyramids as we ate. His depth of knowledge was remarkable, both at the Giza pyramids and during the private tour of the Egyptian museum. He is very personable and we couldn't imagine having a better experience. The driver did a great job negotiating the busy Cairo traffic and got us to the airport in plenty of time.

Mohamed, the Manager of Luxor tour guided , met us at the Luxor airport and took us to our hotel, explaining our options for the next three days of touring. He also met us after most tours to see how the day went and to confirm plans with us, the guide and the driver for the next day.

It might be helpful to know that the tours listed on the website are outlines of the sights that are available to see but they are extremely flexible to accommodate specific interests and needs and adjust accordingly. For example, we read about Dendara ,and Abedos Temples . They arranged to pick us up very early in the morning in order to get there . We saw the temples and was amazing day. whenever we booked an extra excursion, like a wonderful felucca ride, the guide accompanied us on the trip.
The guide in Luxor for all three days was Mohamed, who also was outstanding. He is a professor at the university, teaching about the preservation and restoration of ancient Egyptian art. He has worked on projects at some of the places we visited and was extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the three days with him we continued to be impressed by his ability to share the cultural background behind the temples and tombs we saw. By the end of the time, we were able to read and understand common themes in the Egyptian art in the temples. He also was very protective of us including everything from street venders to watching our step going up and down the attraction sites.

Moamen was the driver for all three days and did a wonderful job of getting us safely to our destinations. He stayed with the van so we could securely leave our day packs when visiting the sites and had the air conditioning going to cool us off when we returned along with providing cold water bottles, a welcome relief in the heat. Whenever we finished, even when leaving from a place different than when we entered, he was right there waiting for us.

This review may seem a little over the top positive but it really is how we feel. The combination of knowledgeable guides, attentive drivers and a highly warm and personal touch throughout made this a fabulous experience.

Mr Mohamed responded to every of my emails almost instantly, and after exchanging some emails, explaining what i would like to do and see as well as some personal problems (I visited Egypt, with my wife and 11 year old son, and 7year old doughter and my father, mother, mother in law and father in law), and sometimes it's difficult to adjust everything to diferente ages and tastes, i was also on budget and i found that

Luxor tour guide team even found a new place for us to visit in the Luxor region which the group hadn’t visited before. We found Luxor tour guide team to be most reliable in organising minibuses with a driver and guide for us around Luxor and Aswan and Cairo and the much wider area. The minibuses are clean and in good repair, which is not always the case with another company we used.
The guide we had in Cairo was exceptional,, a sophisticate, knowledgeable, with a great handle in setting the context of antiquity and the machinations at the time. Ahmed was our tour guide in Aswan and he was great! Filled with information. High Dam was beautiful. We had a beautiful ride there and the view was just amazing. Ahmed even showed us how to know that there are silt in the soil at the High Dam.

The highlight of this trip would have to be Philae Temple! That place was beautiful. The boat ride there was fantastic and we how to learn more about Nubian people and how proud of their heritage they are. The Temple was magnificent. We were taken through the whole place by Ahmed, before having our own time to take photos.

  On our final morning of a ten-day trip to Cairo and Luxor we visited Medinat Habu and Ramesseum. These choices were based on input from our tour guide Khalid who... read more realized that were were likely to be less satisfied with the museum visits that the tour company had scheduled. These were outstanding choices and Khalid negotiated the changes with the tour company.

Medinat Habu is a large complex, a substantial amount of which is devoted to the military exploits of Ramses III. Some of the carvings are outstanding. Ramesseum is a smaller site devoted to the great pharaoh Ramses II.

Our half day ended with a delightful lunch overlooking the river Nile at a restaurant Khalid selected.

They set you up with guides who take you to present destinations while offering other adventures if time allows. Of course those are an additional chargd but well worth it.

After your day wondering around the pyramids or pharaohs tombs, in valley of the kings you enjoy a nice relaxing cruise down the Nile.

A couple of my favourite moments besides the pyramids were holding a baby Nile crocodile and jumping on a hot air balloon.

  Khalid was our guide for several days in Luxor. He's been at this for awhile, so listened carefully about what we wanted to see (and what we wanted to avoid).... read more He also provided a few tips to steer us away from the crowds and sights that often make the tour books but aren't worth the time when there's so much to see in a limited time. It was extremely hot when we were in Luxor (unusual for April), so Khalid also took that into consideration, which was critical. As for the guiding, Khalid provided the correct balance of providing the history of sites without overloading you with information. He was able to relate Egypt's rich history and traditions in easy-to-understand fashion. Questions were answered knowledgeably and frequently. And most importantly, he had the knack in knowing how much time we needed to wander by ourselves just to marvel at the antiquities. As with every guide we encountered, there was a bit of a strong sales pitch to buy and do certain things and eat in "tourist" restaurants; just be sure to let him know up front that you're not interested and he will respect your wishes. Our tour was simply wonderful! Khalid was knowledgeable, and tireless, and interesting. And it was Ramadan, and he was fasting.

And yet, he was so wonderfully professional and engaging, and hospitable. It was truly a memorable tour. I recall his guidance in the Valley of the Kings of the general plan of the tombs and he picked three for us to see. I truly enjoyed his lectures about Nut and Hathor.

And we really enjoyed his company. Would definitely travel with him again.
